A Letter from our Management

Dear employees, customers, shareholders, and partners of AccessHolding,

The world is currently facing a global crisis we have not experienced before. We feel the impact in our families, communities and every day at work. It has not been easy to change routines and habits quickly. We are concerned about what the world will look like after the crisis, but at the same time we are already working on better solutions for tomorrow.

As the Management Board of AccessHolding, we would first of all like to thank our employees in Berlin and across all countries of operation, who reacted to the current challenges proactively, applied immediate health & safety measures, implemented dedicated response activities and keep the show running, despite all difficulties. In addition to our dedicated staff, we are blessed with strong and reliable shareholders, investors, donors, and business partners – your support during this time is essential and highly appreciated. We assure you that we will continue to give our best to be ahead of the situation and apply our valuable lessons learnt from previous crisis times to steer our network of microfinance institutions through these stormy weathers. Our ultimate efforts are dedicated towards the micro and small enterprises and low-income households in Georgia, Madagascar, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, Nigeria, Liberia, Brazil and Tajikistan, who need our financial support and fair business partnership now more than ever before.

In recent years the network institutions of AccessHolding have been significantly investing into developing digital financial solutions, new delivery and communication channels to customers, e-learning methodologies and platforms, upgrading technical equipment and strengthening information security and cyber risk management. These achievements, which have been supported by valuable partners, help us greatly during the current disruption and we now are accelerating our progress in this area in order to evolve out of the crisis even stronger than before.

Stay healthy and in good spirits!
